John Stamos denies committing statutory rape, testifies in court

Shortly after actor John Stamos separated from supermodel Rebecca Romijn in 2004, he allegedly had a romantic encounter with Allison Coss during a spring break trip at Florida’s Pleasure Island. At the time, Coss was just 17 years old and they met in a club where patrons must be at least 18 years of age. According to Gossip Center, Coss and Scott Sippola have been accused of extortion for demanding money from the former Full House star in exchange for compromising photographs that feature him with cocaine and strippers.

The Associated Press is reporting that Coss is currently standing trial for conspiring to extort $680,000 from Stamos, and the actor testified in court during a federal trial in Marquette, Michigan earlier today. His attorney has refuted claims that have been made by the defendants in the case, stating that Stamos will be proven innocent because the allegations are untrue.

Court papers have been obtained by Hollywood Dame that reveal excerpts from the defendants. The defense attorney claims, “Stamos offered to perform oral sex on Coss, but she declined. Stamos eventually became frustrated, broke a bedpost with his hand and left the room before apologizing and inviting Coss to spend the night, which she did.”
