Woman removed from American Airlines for singing Whitney Houston's 'I Will Always Love You' (Video)

An American Airlines flight was forced to land after a passenger refused to stop singing the late Whitney Houston’s hit song, “I Will Always Love you.”

The American Airlines flight took off from Los Angeles and was heading to New York when it was forced to make an emergency landing in Kansas City International Airport, The Wrap reports.

Airport spokesman Joe McBride tells WBTV, “The woman was being disruptive and was removed from the plane for interfering with the flight crew. There was a federal air marshal on the aircraft, who subdued the woman and put her in cuffs and removed her from the plane."

The unidentified woman was handcuffed and removed from the flight, but was not taken to jail. She was released and instructed that she must make her own arrangements to get to her destination as American Airlines would not allow her back on the flight.

The woman later claimed to be diabetic, but did not state if that was the cause of her disruptive outburst.
