John Stamos calls 'Full House' costar Lori Loughlin was 'the one that got away' (Video)

In a new interview with HuffPo Live, actor John Stamos reveals that Full House costar Lori Loughlin is possibly the “one that got away.”

According to Us Weekly, Stamos responded to comments made by his 1990’s on-screen wife, who explained that the couple dated briefly, but noted that their timing was always just “off.”

In the interview Stamos confessed, “[We] went on a date to Disneyland before, you know, before we were both married. In real life, when we were 18, 19-years-old.We did have some off timing, but no disrespect to her family and her husband now, I would say that she could be the one that got away."

Stamos calls Loughlin one of his “dearest friends” and raved about her husband, designer Mossimo Giannulli.

The Necessary Roughness actor was previously married to Rebecca Romijn.

Us Weekly notes Loughlin’s interview, where she explained a similar experience of “off timing” saying, “We were great friends...and we have chemistry. I was actually married at the time I was doing the show and then I got divorced, and when I got divorced he met Rebecca [Romijn] and he got married. So our timing was just really off so I don't think it really even entered our minds that it would be something more."
