Liam Neeson signs $20 million contract for 'Taken 3'

Terrorist thugs have not yet to learn that you don’t mess with Liam Neeson. The actor will once again show off his skills as CIA operative agent Bryan Mills as he has signed on to star in Taken 3.

According to The Hollywood Gossip, Neeson has signed a $20 million contract to star in the third installment of the action-packed series. The 61-year-old actor reportedly earned $15 million for reprising his role in Taken 2.

Taken 2 grossed nearly $140 million since it theaters in 2012. The sequel saw the kidnapping of Neeson and ex-wife Lenore by the man whose father Neeson killed when rescuing daughter Kim from the first film. It is unclear what the plot line of the third film will follow.

Writers Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen are reportedly working on a script and hope to begin filming in February 2014. THG note that Maggie Grace (Kim) and Famke Janssen (Lenore) have yet to sign on. Jannsen is currently filming A Fighting Man.
