Paula Deen's fans create petitions to boycott Food Network

Paula Deen might have lost her contract with the Food Network, as they decided not to renew it when it expires at the end of the month, and she could be losing her QVC deal – but her fans still have her back.

Deen’s reps confirmed a National Enquirer report that surfaced last week that claimed she admitted to using the “n-word” in a deposition, and she has seen a downward spiral since then.

According to NBC News, the celebrity chef’s fans are coming to her defense, starting up several Facebook pages to boycott the Food Network’s decision not to continue on with her show.

“Show me an adult person who has not said the N word in his life, black or white. You without sin cast the first stone,” one person wrote on a petition.

The network’s page has also been an outlet for angry fans, one recipe in particular gained a ton of comments, with one writing “I hope this move hits you hard in your pockets.”

Another commenter said it was “shameful” how they handled the situation and proclaimed “I plan to follow her to the next network who picks her up!”
