Storms move throughout the South and the East Coast

Although the wildfires on the west are bad, and the Oklahoma tornado devastated many, the East Coast and the South are now feeling the weather also with dangerous winds, storms, rare tornado warnings.

According to FOX News strong winds tore down power-lines and trees knocking out areas in New England on Sunday. Flights were getting delayed in New York City as well as tornadoes touching home in South Carolina.

30,000 are still without power in: Vermont, Maine, and New Hampshire because of the overpowering thunderstorms and Hail moving in late Sunday evening. The Weather Channel gave rare tornado warnings throughout the Northeast, Midwest and The South.

On Friday there were exactly five tornadoes that had hit the Oklahoma City Metro Area according to CBS:

"They had no place to go, and that's always a bad thing. They were essentially targets just waiting for a tornado to touch down," patrol trooper Betsy Randolph. "I'm not sure why people do that sort of stuff, but it is very dangerous."

With plenty of warning but no where to go many were stranded on the freeway stuck in rush hour traffic caused by the fear of the first tornado that killed 24 on May 20th in Moore, Oklahoma.

Tornados with a rating of an EF3 hit places northeast of St. Louis, and areas west of St. Louis. They hit with winds of nearly 150 mph, and severely damaged at least 71 homes and moderately damaged 100 homes.

Not knowing if this weather will cease, many wait to see what form the weather will take in next.
