‘General Hospital ‘ weekly recap: Week of 7/22-7/26

At The Floating Rib, Lesley apologized when she came to meet Laura late. Lesley then told Laura that she caught by Monica looking for the records they needed, but Lesley then said she appealed to Monica’s “motherly” side and she let her get the records. Laura was then horrified to read that Luke had polonium poisoning and had refused treatment. She then told Lesley that she thought he left town to die alone and thought Tracy would have more answers. Nearby, Michael tried to apologize to Felix's female friend, Penny about being bad company. When Penny asked him if he was going through a bad breakup and really didn’t want to talk about it, she said she understood. They then tried to play pool but Michael kept getting distracted seeing Kiki's face on Penny. Penny noticed him staring and wondered if she looked okay. He said that he thought she looked fine and kissed her. After, she told him that she liked it and asked him if he wanted to get out of there.

At the Quartermaine's, Kiki asked Morgan what he was doing proposing to her. He replied that it just hit him that he wanted to be with her for the rest of his life. Then, she asked him if it had something to do with her Michael kissing. He admitted that her kiss with Michael did upset him but that he realized it happened before they knew they were cousins, so they could put it all behind them now that the attraction was gone. Kiki still thought that they were too young to get married. Morgan said that he didn’t care and waited for her to answer. Kiki then told Morgan that she would marry him.

In the Quartermaine foyer, Monica ran into Tracy when she came in and told her that she knew that Tracy was lying that her test results were really Luke’s. She was about to warn Tracy about something when she got paged on an emergency and had to leave.

In the Quartermaine living room, AJ caught Ava having a drink and asked her if it had been a rough day. As he was talking, she remembered Silas thinking Kiki could his daughter. Once Ava snapped back to the present, she told AJ about Franco’s a seizure, and that he wasn't feeling like himself, but said he'd be okay. AJ then agreed that Franco’s death might have put a kink in her master plan. Then, Tracy joined them and AJ invited her to pull up a chair while Ava told them how she planned on taking over ELQ with Franco. Tracy then listened AJ told her his theory of how Ava was trying to align herself with Franco to take over ELQ. Tracy was waiting for a response from Ava when Morgan came in with Kiki and they announced their engagement. Ava pulled Morgan and asked him about his sudden proposal. Morgan replied that he thought Ava was, “pretty clueless for a smart lady. The truth always comes out and I covered things on my end.” Meanwhile, AJ wondered what Ava and Morgan were talking about. Then, he called Michael to let him know about the engagement. Meanwhile, Tracy was shocked to find Laura at the door.

Carly wondered if Sam was dead when she and Silas found her on the floor at the penthouse, but Sam woke up and remembered her struggle with “Jason.” Silas wanted to get her to the hospital but when Sam found out Danny was missing all she wanted to do was find him. Then, Dante and a forensics team arrived. Carly convinced Sam to go with Silas to GH for medical attention and promised they would find Danny that night. Later, Carly asked a picture of Jason where Franco could be? Dante refused to let her help and threatened to arrest her if she interrupted the investigation. Later, he saw she was gone.

Elizabeth greeted Sam when she and Silas arrived at GH and Monica helped stitch her up. They were disturbed to learn that Franco was out there pretending to be Jason. Then, Silas explained that he might truly believe he was Jason due to the brain tumor they found.

“Jason” parked the motorcycle near the bridge and pulled out a gun while he was holding Danny. He said that he was sorry that he had to hurt Sam, but that he had no choice. He then said that he believed there was no one in Port Charles he and Danny could trust. Then, Elizabeth appeared, walked over and asked, "What about me?" He was surprised someone found him, but then remembered that Elizabeth “could always read him.” He then said that he thought maybe the timing was finally right for them and refused to let Franco ruin her like he had ruined Sam. Then, another Franco wearing a hooded jacket appeared behind Elizabeth saying, "Guess again." He then grabbed Elizabeth and threatened her with a knife. Elizabeth called to “Jason” holding the gun. “Jason” then took a shot, which hit EIizabeth. The hooded Franco then picked up Elizabeth’s body and threw her over the bridge while “Jason” held Danny, who was screaming. The hooded Franco then ranted about how Jason had everything when Monica took him in and after he learned the truth, he knew Jason's life should have been his. He then confessed that everything he destroyed was Jason’s fault. The hooded Franco then said, “For them to end the cycle, you must make the sacrifice and end him [Danny.] Then, Carly showed up and interrupted Franco as he was talking about it ending it all with Danny as he held the baby over the side of the bridge.

Back at the Floating Rib, Michael got off the phone with AJ and invited Penny back to his apartment.

At GH, Monica and Silas tried to keep Sam calm about Franco running off with Danny. Then, Dante showed up and told them that Carly may have gone after Franco. Silas warned that Franco, with a brain tumor could be dangerous.

As “Jason” held Danny over the edge of the bridge, Carly appeared and tried to talk him down but he suggested that Franco had gotten to her too. Eventually, she convinced him that Danny needed to be in the hospital. He then handed him over to Carly. Then, Elizabeth called her and Carly told her that she had Danny. “Jason” then took out his gun and held it on himself. Carly tried to calm him down, but he started to cry about killing Elizabeth while he was trying to kill Franco. “Jason” then said that he needed to kill himself like Franco would. "Yes! No! My head hurts! I've got evil in my head that wants to explode," he told Carly. Then, he held the gun on himself again. Carly then told him that it didn’t matter what was in his head because he had a good heart. After some begging, “Jason” put the gun down. Then, Silas, Sam and PCPD showed up after tracing the call Elizabeth made to Carly. Sam ran up and grabbed Danny. Carly then stood between “Jason” and Dante as they pointed their guns at each other. She said that she promised “Jason” that he would be okay and that she could trust him. “Jason” then cried and fell over.

Laura charged into the Quartermaines house to confront Tracy for lying to her about Luke’s illness. Laura told Tracy that she had Luke's test results and knew that he was dying. Tracy played dumb, but Laura pressed her until she admitted that he was poisoned by Helena. Tracy then told Laura that Luke was chasing Jerry Jacks, who was also suffered from polonium poisoning and Luke thought he bought himself the cure. that he is chasing the one chance for a cure he has. Tracy then said that he ran off after she insisted on going with him on the search. "He may be doing it without you, but he's not doing it without me," Laura told her. Plus, he promised to be there at the birth of their grandchild and she intended to make him keep that promise.

Molly met Rafe Jr. on a bench and told him that the news about Danny wasn't good. She explains how Alexis had a one-night stand with a stranger and got pregnant with Sam. He then suggested that they try making up a list of all of the men whose names started with J that Alexis may have known. Molly told him that was all a long-shot. Rafe Jr. said that he didn’t think they should give up and suggested they go and something to eat.

Taylor and TJ met up at The Floating Rib. They started to make out, but he pulled away and said that he just wanted to be with Molly. She then headed straight to the bar and asks some guy named Van, to buy her a drink. After he gets her a “Sex on the Beach,” he asked her what she would do for him. TJ got protective. Van suggested to Taylor that they ditch him and head out, but before they could, TJ told Van that Taylor was only 16. Van then hit the road and Taylor was pissed. TJ then told her that he cares about her. As they hugged, Molly and Rafe Jr. came in and spotted them. They decided to leave.

Alexis was shocked when she walked into Danny's hospital room and saw he was done. Nikolas said that Sam must have him. Then, they rehashed their family history. Alexis commented that she was sure the Cassadines are cursed. "It's the gift that keeps on giving," he joked. She then beat herself up for not knowing who Sam's father was. Nikolas then told her not to blame herself and thought they needed to concentrate on what the Ouija board told them. They pondered the J's she had slept with but she could hardly remember them. Then, Monica showed up and told them the latest on Danny.

At The Metro Court, Scott was surprised to see Laura all packed and was annoyed that she was going off to find Luke. Laura told him that Luke was dying, because he’d been poisoned by Helena, as her farewell gift. Laura then told Scott that she would never forgive herself if Luke died. Scott was upset, thinking her quest meant she still had feelings for Luke, but she insisted that she wanted to bring him back for Lucky and Lulu and so he could see Lulu’s baby. Laura then invited him to go with her, but he refused, agreeing that it was a matter of life and death, maybe the death of their marriage. Laura professed her love for him and her commitment to their marriage but also that she needed his strength and wanted his blessing so she could go do this for her family and come back to him. He then relented. Though, when Laura left, Scott thrashed the hotel room in frustration.

Sabrina woke up at Patrick's and wondered what was wrong. He told her that he was worried about Franco and that if he didn’t perform the surgery on him soon, he would certainly die. She replied that she never heard him worry about surgery before but was sure he'd be amazing. He replied that he knew how lucky he was to have her in his life. Then, they kissed and make love.

At the Quartermaine's, Morgan asked Ava if she'd seen Kiki. She said she hadn’t and was worried that she might have gone to the hospital. Morgan then said he was hell-bent on marrying Kiki before “It all” hit the fan. He then asked to borrow Ava's credit card again to buy Kiki an engagement ring. She gave him the card and said to him, “You’re lucky you’re cute.”

Kiki showed up at Michael's apartment to tell him she was engaged to Morgan but he already knew. They both said they were confused about how Morgan went from furious about their kiss to proposing to Kiki. She then said that she wanted to move on and thought Michael should too. Then, Penny came out of Michael's bedroom looking for him. Kiki left upset thinking that Michael had already moved on.

At GH, Felix cornered Brad to tell him that he knew what he did to Michael. Felix also said he knew why Brad backed off and tried to find out the truth about Britt's paternity test. Brad replied that he was certain Felix wouldn’t tell Monica about him because then he'd tell everyone Michael was “banging his own cousin.” Morgan stepped off the elevator just in time to overhear the exchange. Morgan was shocked to learn that Brad saw Kiki and Michael kissing. He then told them that he was marrying Kiki and stormed off. Felix then pushed Brad up against the wall, all ready to punch him for ruining people's lives when Sabrina appeared and stopped him. Once Brad smugly walked away, Felix told Sabrina what Brad was up to and why.

Elsewhere in GH, Diane approached “Jason’s” room but was stopped by an officer. She was surprised to hear he was been sedated after kidnapping Danny and trying to kill himself. Inside, “Jason” woke up and recalled the previous night's events and how Carly talked him down while confessing how much she loved him. He then called out for Carly but Diane came in and wanted to know what he was thinking and how she was going to defend him after the previous night’s events. He ignored her, only wanting to see Carly.

Near Danny's room, Sam thanked Carly for saving Danny and Franco’s lives. Carly was surprised that Sam cared that Franco was still alive. Silas said he was as thankful as Sam since Franco might be the last chance at finding a bone marrow donor for Danny. Sam then asked Carly why she didn't let Franco kill himself. Diane interrupted before Carly could answer to let Carly know Franco wanted to see her. She was surprised to see Silas and Sam on “speaking terms” after the Rafe Jr. custody battle. Silas then told Diane about Franco’s brain tumor. Diane was excited to learn about the brain tumor and said she had to go research precedents in preparation for trial. Once they were alone again, Silas promised to Sam that he’d do his best to stabilize Danny and they held hands. Ava witnessed the exchange in the hallway. Then, she interrupted and wanted to make sure Silas was clear about her and her daughter. She was shocked when he told her to hurry up if she wanted to see Franco since he was about to have surgery. Silas left telling Ava that he didn’t believe a word she told him about Franco or Kiki. He then joined Sam as Brad arrived to tell them that Franco was a perfect bone marrow match to save Danny.

Back in Franco's room, he asked Carly questions about the night before and wanted to know why she stopped him from killing himself. He added that he knew she hated him, so why would she say that she loved him? She then told him that he thought he was Jason. Then, Patrick arrived and Carly thought he should tell Franco why he was confused. Patrick then explained to Franco about the brain tumor and warned him before he signed the consent form for the surgery that ir could kill him, but that if he didn’t have the surgery, he’d die a slow and painful death. Franco then signed the consent. Outside Franco’s room, Morgan was stopped by the officer, who assures him Kiki wasn’t inside. When Kiki did show up he was surprised that she didn’t know what was going on as Franco was being wheeled out. Franco then told Kiki that he “had to have surgery so I can be your dad.” When she looked concerned, he replied that it was worth it to see she was. Once he was gone, Kiki asked Carly if he was going to die. Carly didn’t know what to tell her but Morgan said he would support her especially since she was going to be his wife. Carly was stunned at the news. Ava caught Franco before surgery. He told her that he wanted her to think about the value of his art if something happened. Ava then pushed him to sign a proxy so she could vote for his ELQ shares. After, she watched as they took Franco to surgery.

Felix showed up at Michael's apartment to ask him for a favor.

TJ caught Molly and Rafe Jr. at GH. He tells Molly that he’s there to support her and asks to see her alone. Then, he confessed that he hasn't been able to stop thinking about her. Molly thought that was funny since she saw him and Taylor kissing at The Floating Rib. She moved to leave but he stopped her to tell her that told Taylor that he just wanted to be friends, just like Molly is with Rafe Jr. yet, Molly pointed out to that TJ and Taylor slept together where she and Rafe Jr. hadn’t. TJ then says that he doesn't want to give up on them and they agree there may be a chance to save what they had.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Carly was shocked to hear Morgan say that Kiki accepted his proposal of marriage. Morgan thought congratulations were appropriate but Carly said that would get married over her dead body. She surprised even more when they told her that they had Ava’s support. Morgan then said that he was determined for wedding to happen. Carly planned to see that it didn’t and left. Kiki started to have second thoughts but then said she was just feeling overwhelmed.

At the nurses’ station, Elizabeth talked to Nikolas about Britt. She told him that she didn’t think being Britt's Lamaze partner was the right thing for him to do. Nikolas replied that it wasn’t her place to get involved. Elizabeth then spilled about what Britt did to Patrick and Emma and how she’s not the kind of person he should want around Spencer. Nikolas didn’t understand how she could be with AJ and care who he was involved with. She said that to her, AJ's problems were in his past, but Britt's offenses were recent. Nikolas didn’t want to talk anymore done and left wondering if Elizabeth was jealous. She then called AJ and left a message that she needed to talk to him.

Outside Danny's room, Sam was relieved that Franco was a match until Brad said that he was only a possible donor if he survived surgery. Silas was surprised that Franco was in surgery and was afraid that he could die before he had a chance to donate the marrow needed to save Danny's life. He then made an attempt to stop the surgery but it was too late. Sam then broke down crying in his arms knowing that if Franco died so would Danny. She then composed herself and apologized to Silas for losing it as Rafe Jr. arrived wondering what was wrong. Silas did his best to explain that everything would be fine and that Franco would make it. When they were alone, Rafe Jr. asked Silas if he meant everything he said. He replied that there was no way of knowing for sure but he that he didn't want to take away Sam's hope for Danny. Rafe Jr. then rejoined Molly to give her the news about Danny and Franco. Alone, Sam cried out to Jason, saying that she needed him to be Danny's angel until he was okay. She then said that she wanted a sign that he was there. Then, Silas came and picked her up off the floor.

At the Quartermaine's, Ava interrupted Tracy when she was on the phone with Ned ranting about Franco and Ava planning a takeover of ELQ. Tracy then told Ava that her plan was meaningless. Ava agreed that her plan had failed, but that she had come up with a new one. After explaining Franco's brain tumor situation, she let Tracy know that while Franco was still alive, she had his signed proxy to vote his ELQ shares. She then added that she only had power to vote shares while he was alive. She then outlined a plan for her and Tracy to take over ELQ now. They were interrupted when Carly came over upset over Kiki and Morgan's engagement. She said that she was certain that Ava had a secret and that she would find out what it was, then she left. Before getting she got any deeper in her scheme, Tracy wanted to know Ava's price.

At Michael's apartment, Felix asked for his help in discovering Brad's secret with Britt. Michael was apprehensive, but Felix told him what he thought Britt and Brad have been up to and that he was sure that what Brad was hiding was bigger than what he had on Michael and Kiki. He then wanted Michael to invite Brad over to romance the truth out of him. Then, Michael called Brad pretending to be confused about things and invited him over.

Taylor had lunch with Britt at Kelly's. Britt told Taylor that she was grateful for her support but thought she had an ulterior motive to be near TJ. Taylor then told her that she wasn’t sure it was over with her and TJ since he told her that he just wanted to be friends. Britt replied that there were no knights in shining armor anymore but knew that having friends was a good thing. She then thought fondly of Nikolas as Brad came in. Taylor left them alone and Brad gave Britt her real paternity test results. Then, he left when Michael called inviting him over. Then, Nikolas walked by but wasn’t as friendly as he had been before. Taylor then rejoined Britt and wondered what was up with Nikolas since she thought he and Britt were friends. Later, TJ told Taylor that he was back with Molly.

Back at Michael's apartment, Felix got Michael ready before Brad arrived, then hide around the corner. Michael nervously let Brad in.

Carly went to Sonny's and interrupted Sonny and Connie. She told Sonny that he needed to stop a wedding and he was surprised to hear that Morgan was engaged and said he’d deal with it. Then, Connie got a call and excused herself. Carly told Sonny about Franco’s brain tumor and that she was concerned that Franco could die. Sonny thought she was going soft for caring about Franco and thought if he dies, that was one less problem for them. Sonny apologized to Connie when Carly left. Connie then told Sonny that she could lose Crimson if she didn’t get a big cover story for the next issue then she though the ELQ story could help.

Ava arrived at ELQ and reminded Tracy that if Franco died their plans to takeover ELQ would go up in smoke. Meanwhile, in AJ's office, he wondered why Elizabeth needed to see him. She told him about Franco's condition. He replied that he didn’t think of Franco as his brother and didn’t but said that he was worried about Franco and Ava plans to takeover ELQ. Then, Tracy came in and was ready to boot him out. He thought she was bluffing until Ava arrived, produced Franco’s signed proxy and Tracy announced that she'd called a shareholders’ meeting.

At GH, Kiki told Morgan that she was worried about losing the father she had just met. Then, Silas interrupted and Morgan got upset when he wanted to talk to her alone. Silas didn’t think Morgan was old enough to marry Kiki when he mentioned that they were engaged. He stopped short of calling her his daughter and pulled her away. Then, Alice brought food to Morgan. Nearby, Silas told Kiki there was a computer error and he needed to verify her date of birth, but Ava pulled her away she could answer, wanting news about Franco’s status. She then told Kiki that she was needed at ELQ for a shareholders’ meeting. Silas then rejoined Morgan and Alice. He was concerned that Morgan and Kiki weren’t old enough to get married. Morgan replied that they were both 19 but Alice remarked that she was sure that Kiki is 21 because she’d seen Kiki drinking at the mansion. Then, Alice got a call to get the shareholders’ meeting. Once they were alone, Silas told Morgan that if he loved Kiki he'd tell her the truth, that he (Silas) was her father, not Franco. Then, Carly arrived and joined Morgan as Patrick came out of Franco’s surgery.

At Kelly's, Britt texted Brad because she wanted to know what had happened with Michael. She caught Nikolas leaving and wanted to know why she was getting a cold shoulder. He replied that he was rushing to the hospital and wasn't sure she was interested in hearing him talk about his sick nephew. Britt then realized that Elizabeth must have spoken to Nikolas when he sounded unsure that she even likes children. She admitted that Elizabeth told her to stay from him. He replied that he was concerned with what Elizabeth told him about her attitude toward Emma. Britt explained that acted like a child and wasn’t proud of how she handled Emma not liking her. Then, he asked her if that was all she had done. She then confessed everything Elizabeth had told him about her but advised him to stick with Elizabeth if he wanted someone perfect. Then, they sat at the counter and Nikolas told her about his family’s craziness. He added that he didn’t care what other people thought, was grateful for friends, and wanted her to be one of them. Then, they shook on it. After Nikolas left, Britt's mother, Dr. Obrecht, appeared and told Britt that her life was about to go up in smoke.

At Michael's apartment, Felix urged Michael to get the information he needed from Brad before things got out of hand. He then hid before Michael let Brad in. Brad had a drink and wanted to know what Michael was up for. Then, he sat down and asks Michael if he was gay. Michael couldn’t say that he was as Felix worried as he listened. Michael then told Brad that he was conflicted and Brad offered him a chance to out himself to someone who wouldn’t judge him. Michael replied that he still wasn’t he could trust him after he attempted to blackmail him. He then told Brad to tell him his secret and then he'd trust him enough to tell him if he was gay. Brad remembered Britt's warning about Michael setting him up and decided to tell him that he'd been hurt by men before. Michael claimed he was interested but needed a symbol of faith. Brad replied that he needed his own symbol and promised Michael that he’d tell him anything he wanted to know for one kiss. Michael was about to bail when Felix texted him, 'It's just a kiss, close your eyes.' Michael then stopped Brad from leaving but before they could kiss Michael got a call from AJ to come to ELQ immediately. He left Brad to see himself out and Brad wondered what was up then Felix came out of hiding to warn him that he was done. This only upset Brad, who said that he was tired of pretending. Then, he confessed how much he likes Felix, but how he just ignored him. Felix was touched and said that he almost found Brad's speech redeeming, but that he needed a symbol of faith too. Brad was worried Britt will kill him if he told Felix anything. Brad then moved to leave but told Felix that if he wanted to know the truth about Britt’s baby, to ask her mother.

Back at ELQ, Diane reviewed the votes online. Tracy told Alice to vote for her when she arrived. Kiki was upset that while her father was in surgery they were fighting over ELQ. She said that she was ready to vote with AJ and Michael. AJ knew that he lacks the majority. Tracy bragged that she had won back being CEO just as Diane announced that AJ won the vote.
