'America's Got Talent' - Live Show - July 30

Last week America’s Got Talent brought us phenomenal acts. This week another group of great acts are set to perform. Only 4 out of the 12 acts can go through to the semi finals. The first of the night are Innovative Force. These girls would be considered a dance group except they are way more than that. They do acrobats and jump high in there. They have elements of dance, acrobats, and cheer. These girls look as if they belonged to cirque de soleil. Mel B called it exciting, and well done. Howie tells them that what they did is very dangerous and its up to America to decide. Howard tells them they don’t just dance but do athleticism and acrobats. Heidi tells them 2 thumbs up. The next act is Ciana Pelekai. She is a Hawaiian native and also just a kid. She is a very talented girl but there was something missing in her performance. Howie calls it the year of youth. Howie believes she has the talent to go all the way. Howard said he did not love the performance. Heidi told her in her eyes and ears she did really good and loves her confidence.

We take a different turn with the performances. Next is Alexandr Magala. His performance always has the judges on the edge of their seats. He swallows a sword and then does tricks with it in his mouth. He slipped with the sword in his mouth and also had some fire stick while climbing a pole. Howard calls him out on the fact that earlier that week Alexandr had cut himself and could not eat for 2 days. Howard praised him for taking it all the way. Heidi called it disgustingly good. Mel B loved it, called it dangerous and crazy. Howie told him he was so worried for him. This guy went all the way and deserves to move forward. The following act is not at all dangerous, they are the Struck Boyz. I absolutely love these kids. They are a dance crew and they bring it. Heidi tells them she has a lot of fun watching them. Mel B calls them naughty boys, and are a lot of fun to watch. Howie called them the offspring of the Housewives of Staten Island. Howard said he did not have fun watching them.

We have another danger act. Brad Byers is up onstage. He has a fan and has a pencil go through it and the pencil just falls apart. He then sticks his tongue through the fan which leaves me covering my eyes. He then lays on what looks like sharp metal neddles. Then has a board placed over him and has his brother ride an ATV over him. This guy is ridiculous. Mel B asks him why? She also wants a little more showmanship. Howie agreed with her but at the same time he has amazing stunts. We will see what America has to say. Next onstage was Kid the Wiz. His whole thing is break dancing with his hat. Now he has great personality and talent but not sure if it’s a million dollar act. Howie said he feels like he has seen it before. Heidi tells him he has so much charisma. Mel B told him her kids love him, he’s cool and edgy.

The following act is Forte. They are the opera singing trio. These guys without a doubt have talent coming out of their ears, they are just amazing. Howard tells them they have quality and talent. Heidi told them they did the song justice, and gave her Goosebumps. Howie told them they have a place in the top 10. Next is Angela Hoover, and she is an impressionist. She imitated Heidi and Mel B, which she nailed. Heidi thought it was very good. Mel B, liked it a lot. Howie called her a great impressionist but could have done a better job. Howard thought her material was weak.

The next act was Dave Shirley. He wowed everyone in his first audition. He uses illusion , by illustrating his lower half as different things like a ballerina and a hot body. I was a little bored. I think his first audition was better. Mel B thinks the idea is genius, but she suggests it needed more precision. Howard tells him he needs more practice. The next contestant was Marty Brown. He is a country singer. He let the emotion get the better of him. He choked up during his performance and missed a few notes. Howard said he was disappointed, and his performance was bad. Heidi said she could hear how nervous he was. Mel B thought he blew it and she also called him David on accident. I was a big fan of his but tonight was not his night.

Aquanuts were the next act. They are a synchronized swimming team. They cannot perform this at Radio City Music Hall, so they did an earlier taping of their act. They did it in a swimming pool located somewhere in Manhattan. They did a really good. Howard calls them spectacular, but he isn’t sure if America wants to see more. Heidi loves America’s got talent because there is no other place where you can see this. Mel B, loves how they are doing this in heels. Its different she calls it. Howie tells them he didn’t think they dazzled, they did it great but not amazing. The last performance of the night was Tone the Chiefrocca. They’re dream is to release a one hit wonder. I have to admit the song is catchy. They flared the song up with girls and cars and fancy clothing. Heidi said she enjoyed it. Mel B loved it. Howie thought he hit out of the park. Howard called it fun. It’s original and fun.
