Cory Monteith died of drug overdose

Cory Monteith, the popular and friendly Glee actor who died Saturday, had a toxic mixture of alcohol and heroin in his system. Monteith, 31, struggled with drug addiction and was found alone in his hotel room in Vancouver, Canada after a night out with friends. This comes despite the fact that initial reports indicated investigators did not believe the cause of death was either foul play or drug abuse.
