New ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’ hits the web, showcasing Oscar Isaac and Justin Timberlake (Video)

A new trailer for the new film from Joel and Ethan Coen, Inside Llewyn Davis, hit the web today. The trailer gives fans a new look at the 1960s-set drama about a folk musician, which earned glowing reviews out of the Cannes Film Festival in May.

The film won the Grand Prix, the festival’s second prize, and will be distributed by CBS Films in the U.S. Today’s new trailer follows the release of its first trailer in January.

Inside Llewyn Davis is the first project from the Coen brothers since 2010’s True Grit remake. It follows Llewyn Davis, played by Oscar Isaac (Drive), and his attempts to break into the Greenwich Village folk scene and earn a recording contract. Based on the trailers, the Coen brothers have managed to get great performances from the supporting cast, which includes John Goodman, Carey Mulligan, Garrett Hedlund and Justin Timberlake.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the film will have live singing produced by T Bone Burnett and Mumford & Sons’ Marcus Mumford. Burnett previously worked with the Coen brothers on the Grammy winning soundtrack for O Brother, Where Art Thou.

Inside Llewyn Davis is being released on Dec. 6 and is expected to get some Oscars attention.
