Tia and Tamara Mowry were born July 6, 1978 in West Germany. The twins gained fame from their role as teenagers Tia and Tamara Landry on their sitcom Sister, Sister. They have gone on to do other roles in TV and film, and currently have a reality show on the Style Network.
Both Tia and Tamara entered beauty pageants and talent shows at a young age before scoring their breakout roles on Sister, Sister. After the show ended, the twins studied psychology at Pepperdine University.
Tamera Mowry-Housley is the older twin by two minutes. She appeared in TV series such as Roommates and Things We Do For Love. In 2011 she married Fox News Correspondent Adam Housley after dating for six years. They have a son named Adan, who was born in November 2012.
Tia Mowry-Hardict was recently cast in the lead role in a new Nick at Nite comedy series, Instant Mom. She also had a recurring role in the television series, The Game, in which she played a medical student for five seasons. In 2008, she married her co-star from Hollywood Horror Cory Hardict. Their first child, a boy, was born June 28, 2011. Tia also published her first book called, “Oh, Baby: Pregnant Tales and Advice from One Hot Mama to Another,” in which she gives advice on how to be a working mother during pregnancy.
