Justin Timberlake gives surprise concert in New Jersey

A hundred fifty lucky fans got to see Justin Timberlake perform when he put on a surprise concert in Hoboken, New Jersey last night.
Timberlake was in town for a Target commercial and performed at the music club Maxwell’s, according to People.
He wrote on his Twitter:

Thousands of fans and paparazzi swarmed into the area. Police tried to keep order, shouting with megaphones, but people spilled into the streets anyway. Despite the thousands who turned up, only 150 fans were let in to see Timberlake perform his hit single “Take Back the Night.”
This surprise concert came only days after Timberlake won a Moonman for Video of the Year for “Mirrors” at the 2013 MTV VMAs. He beat out Taylor Swift, Robin Thicke, Bruno Mars, and Macklemore for the award, according to the Huffington Post. As well as winning Video of the Year, Timberlake gave what just may be the performance of the year when he sang a fifteen minute medley of his hit songs including the highly anticipated “Bye, Bye, Bye” with his old boy band ‘N Sync.
With all his recent publicity, no wonder fans swarmed to see him in New Jersey on Wednesday!
