Rapper Raz-B on life support following bottle attack

Rap artist Raz-B is on life support following a violent bottle fight at a nightclub in China.

TMZ spoke with the 28-year-old “Bump, Bump, Bump” singers rep who explained, “He is in a coma and needs as many prayers as possible."

TMZ notes that Raz-B, whose real name is De'Mario Monte Thornton, was performing in China at a nightclub Thursday when a brawl erupted. Raz-B jumped in the fight in the hopes of breaking it up and was smashed in the face with a bottle.

Raz went to the hospital following the incident where he was treated for his injuries including a massive gash in his lip. He returned home where he went to sleep and didn’t wake up. According to the report, one of his back up dancers rushed him to the hospital where he remains in a coma. He is now breathing from a ventilator and is slipping in and out of consciousness.

Ballerstatus reports that at the time of his consciousness, Raz-B noted he was planning to sue his attacker, who has since paid $5,000 for his medical expenses.
