Actor Ben Affleck recently scored the role as Batman in the untitled Man of Steel sequel. Signed by Warner Brothers, this announcement has come with much controversy from Batman fans. Warner Brothers’ president of production has defended Affleck, saying “We knew we needed an extraordinary actor to take on one of DC Comics’ most enduringly popular super heroes, and Ben Affleck certainly fits that bill, and then some.” In light of his new role, let’s take a look back at Affleck’s top ten movies from the past.
10) Dazed and Confused (1993)

In this classic, Affleck plays high school senior Fred O’Bannion. The film follows a group of teens on their last day of school in 1976. The movie was in Entertainment Weekly’s top 50 high school movies and top 10 funniest movies.

Affleck both directed and acted in this movie. Affleck starred as a bank robber who falls in love with his hostage. The movie was nominated by the Broadcast Film Critics Association for their Best Cast Award.
