Naomi Watts walks out of her interview ahead of London premiere of 'Diana,' film gets poor reviews from British press

Naomi Watts was not happy with how her BBC interview was going, and the 44-year-old actress actually got up and walked out mid-interview.

Watts has been open about her sensitivity about portraying the late Princess Diana in the new biopic Diana, especially how her sons will react to it.

BBC Radio host Simon Mayo tweeted after the incident, “A first for me and @wittertainment as Naomi Watts walked out of an interview! She seemed a tad uncomfortable with the questions. Shame."

The Hollywood Gossip notes that when a fan asked Mayo what had transpired to make her feel so uncomfortable, he said “The honest answer is I have no idea. You know my hectoring style is always a problem.”

“Did you suggest film might not be in best possible taste?" Telegraph reporterAllison Pearson, asked him and he replied, "No, not at all. Didn't express any opinion. So still baffled."

The London premiere of the film was Thursday night, and it didn’t get the best reviews.

She told The Telegraph at the premiere “I watched it thousands of times, with volume, without volume; and I listened to it over and over again until I knew every word of it. I listened to it on my iPhone, on my iPad, when I was jogging…all the time. I studied her voice and the pitch of it which was very distinctive. She was quite posh, but there was a warmth there, too. Her accent wasn't too fruity.”
