White supremacists target North Dakota town

It’s been reported that white supremacist activists have been making attempts to seize control of Leith, North Dakota. They plan to turn it into its own dissented state. As one man bought property for over a year, the legion of racists announced that they would begin visiting the town Sunday (September 22) and Monday. They have been met with protestors.

Leith, N.D. has a population of roughly a dozen people, yet White Supremacists are attempting to take over the town. Hundreds of people gathered to the tiny enclave to protest the actions that the racist group have been attempting to perpetrate.

The whole ordeal started with Craig Cobb, who owns property in the town of Leith. The Bismarck Tribune originally broke the story earlier this month, which announced that Jeff Schoep, the leader of the National Socialist Movement, would arrive this weekend. The Christian Science Monitor acknowledges that the NSM is the largest neo-Nazi association. The NSM apparently has an agenda, one that involves marking their territory by raising the organization's flag and holding press conferences.

The reason why Leith is being targeted? Because the community is already dominantly white, says the Political Blind Spot. Tax records are indicating that other leading white supremacists have begun to invest in the town, including Tom Metzger (White Aryan Resistance) and Alex Linder (Vanguard News Network).
