Dallas Latos attacked at Cincinnati Reds game

Dallas Latos in a news conference Wednesday that she was assaulted at Tuesday's National League wild-card game. Cincinnati Reds pitcher Mat Latos' wife claims she was punched three times and her hair was pulled.

According to CBS News, the brawl happened in the Budweiser Bowtie Bar in the ballpark when Latos, along with another Reds player's grandmother, was insulted. A mostly verbal fight ensued, involving 20 to 30 Pirates and Reds fans.

Latos made several claims and updates on Twitter throughout the night. She has no signs of injury and declined medical attention.

Officials did not arrest anyone – but all of the involved received warnings from police. Seven fans were ejected from the game. The Washington Post reports that according to Sergeant John Fisher, alcohol was involved in the incident.

The pitcher's wife plans to press charges, tweeting, “Yes, I am pressing charges. Yes, that presser was garbage.” Latos also claims that law enforcement was not as involved as they should have been.
