Forbes: Michael Vick tops most-disliked NFL players list

Forbes loves their lists and their latest one focuses on the NFL's most-disliked players, which unsurprisingly places Michael Vick on top.

Despite his occasionally dazzling play on the field, Vick is viewed as the most-disliked player in the league, Forbes reports. The list was created through E-Poll Market Research that rates on things like appeal, likeability and more.

Those involved in the poll say that casual fans are where Vick sinks, as he is still - and forever will be - associated with the dog-fighting ring he on his property. The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback does have a better rating of hardcore football fans. Vick scored a 53 percent dislike in the poll of 1,100 people 13 years old and up.

Manti Te'o, San Diego Chargers rookie linebacker, managed a rating of 48 percent dislike all thanks to his Catfish-like story of a fake girlfriend and whether he may or may not have been tricked. E-Poll Chief Executive Gerry Phillpott commented, "I think this will stay with him until he gets the chance to prove them wrong." Something that won't be easy as he's been injured most of the season.

Unsurprisingly, Detroit Lions' Ndamukong Suh appears high on the list at a 43 percent dislike rating. He's universally known for his dirty playing, which didn't resonate well with people. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger hits the list just behind at 40 percent thanks to sexual assault allegations.

Coming in at fifth place is New York Jets former starting quarterback Mark Sanchez, New York Daily News notes. This surprised Tom Van Riper of Forbes, though his appearance in the list so high is likely because he was in a visible market and he never improved.

Another surprising appearance was Tom Brady at eighth place, though it's felt people are more jealous of him as women swoon over him and he's on the nearly-always good Patriots.

Others on the list are mostly quarterbacks, including Jay Cutler at sixth, Tony Romo at seventh and Carson Palmer at ninth. Running back Reggie Bush rounds out the list at 10.
