Lea Michele speaks out on her lost love: 'I've lost two people: Cory and Finn'

With the well awaited farewell episode approaching this week, Lea Michele speaks out to TV Week Australia about her heartache, and getting back to work on Glee.

In the interview Lea expresses her grief for both her late love, and his on-screen character. “I feel like I’ve lost two people: Cory and Finn.” Though the star is obviously distraught about her loss, she describes her time back at Glee as being “very therapeutic.”

While many speculated whether or not the actress would continue her role as Rachel Berry on the hit FOX series, Michele’s strength is evident in her statement, “Everyone is asking, 'Is it hard to do this? Is it hard to be back at work?'" Michele said. "But the truth is it's no harder at work than it is in life, so we might as well all be together as a family supporting each other to get through this together.”

The tribute episode entitled “The Quarterback” will air on FOX, this Thursday October 10 at 9/8c. According to People the episode does not address Finn’s cause of death but takes place a few weeks prior to his funeral.

Lea Michele is said to have had a significant amount of influence over the episodes' direction and content. The episode will feature many of the original cast members performing in remembrance and honor of their lost friend. Some of the featured performances will include : Naya Rivera singing "If I Die Young," Chord Overstreet and Kevin McHale performing "Fire and Rain," and Michele's Rachel singing the Bob Dylan song, "Make You Feel My Love."

The young star though heartbroken, continues to share her fond memories of Monteith, "I really woke up every single day feeling like I was … in some sort of spell or something, that I was lucky enough to have him in my life," Michele disclosed to TV Week Australia>/a>. "There was no greater man than Cory, so for the time we spent together, I consider myself very lucky."
