Miley Cyrus' mom Tish addresses naysayers in 'Miley: The Movement' (Video)

Miley Cyrus talks about the relationship she has with her mom, Tish Cyrus, in a sneak peak of her MTV documentary Miley: The Movement.

Many have criticized Cyrus’ parents, Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus, for allowing their daughter to dress, dance and act the way she does at 20 years old.

But in the documentary, Tish reassures that she’s right by her duaghter’s side all of the time and there for her whenever she needs it.

“My mom is my homie. If I win, she wins. Not because she’s my manager—because she’s my mom,” the “Wrecking Ball” singer said, Just Jared reports.

Tish responded to critics, saying when people ask where her daughter’s mother is, she wants them to know she’s “right beside her.”

"Through good, through bad, through arguments, through crying, through I don't care what — right there,” she said, Daily News reports.

The former Hanna Montana star also talked about their close relationship, saying "I think she keeps me less anxious. Because I do get so overwhelmed when I have to perform because everything has to be perfect."

Tish and Billy Ray have four other children – Brandi and Noah, and sons Trace and Braison,
