"The Dark One" replies that Baelfire must stay in the hose because he has many enemies who would hurt Baelfire to hurt him. Baelfire thinks the real reason is that "Papa" is afraid that if he leaves, he'll never come back but "The Dark One" denies this. He insists that Baelfire staying confirmed is bet and tells him that he wouldn't know what he would do if he lost him.

Back to the present. Gold is in the jungle putting war paint on when Belle appears to him again. She notes that he is putting back on a mask and he says he'll need it to rescue Henry. Gold replies that things are different and Belle asks how. "Because I have nothing to Live for," replies Gold. Belle reminds him that she's back in Storybrooke waiting for his return. He says she shouldn't and they both knew that his lat goodbye was it. Belle replies that she thinks he'll return and Gold says that even if he did, she'd leave him eventually because she "sees me for what I truly am...a monster.

They all heard pipe music, which the parents couldn't hear and were lured away into the forest. "The Dark One" then vows to find this "pied piper" and make him pay for taking his son.

Gold tells Neal where Emma is when Neal tells him that he plans on rescuing Henry. Neal knows about Gold's intention on sacrificing himself to save Henry and tells him that there's another way. Yet, Gold still thinks that Pan is too powerful. Neal then shows Gold that certain seashells can make the ocean come to them. Neal calls a huge squid from the ocean then kills it with a Dreamshade-tipped spear. Neal then asks Gold to extract squid ink from the squid, which they can use to immobilize Pan. Neal then says he just needs a clear shot at Pan to get Henry back but Gold replies, "Leave that to me."

Hook shows the gang how Neal left Neverland. David tells her that she must, back tracking that if something happened to him, he'd want her to be happy.

Neal puts a still sleeping Henry down on the ground but then is surrounded by Pan and the Lost Boys.
