Patients at New Hampshire children's hospital create video to Katy Perry's 'Roar'

Patients at the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock found a way to have fun and lip sync to Katy Perry's song “Roar.”

The hospital posted a video on YouTube Monday, and it has already reached almost 70,000 views. In the inspirational video, patients find the courage and strength to dance and lip sync to Perry's music. They are also joined by hospital staff, including nurses, doctors and even the hospital's president and other administrators.

“It was a very serendipitous kind of project,” producer Chris Cammock told Yahoo Shine. “It was seriously awesome just seeing these kids just light up. A lot of them have cancer and don’t have a lot of energy.”

The New Hampshire hospital wrote on their Facebook page that the video was made in order to fundraise for the CHaD HERO Half Marathon & Ripcord 5K. People are encouraged to make a donation, and if these kids don't convince you to empty out your pockets, I don't know who could.
