Alec Baldwin loves men, but 'doesn't have a sexual preference' for them

Alec Baldwin is doing anything to prove he isn’t homophobic after suffering repercussions for a recent gay slur. His MSNBC show was suspended for two weeks following the incident.

The former 30 Rock star was in San Francisco this week to speak at the Dreamforce 2013 tech conference and told his lawyer, Matt, who was sitting in the crowd that he loved him.

“I love you ... I love you in THAT WAY,” he said TMZ reports. "I've loved men in my life. There are some men I've loved in my life as much, if not more, than the women in my life."

He added, "I don't have a sexual preference for men ... but I've loved men. I've been in love with about 3 or 4 men ... as much, if not more, than any woman I've loved. I don't wanna have a sexual relationship with them."

USA Today notes Baldwin is likely trying to repair his image after multiple heated run-ins with photographers and journalists outside of his NYC home.
