Alec Baldwin's producer friend Martin Bregman accuses him of lying in stalker trial

During Alec Baldwin’s stalking trial against accused harasser Genevieve Sabourin on Tuesday, his former friend, producer Martin Bregman, accused him of lying.

The 30 Rock star denied any romantic relationship with Sabourin, who was charged with 23 counts of harassment and one count of stalking. Sabourin was almost held in contempt of court for yelling that Baldwin was lying when he denied a sexual relationship with her.

After the trial, Bregman told Daily News, “He’s lying. He was screwing two women. One of them is his present wife and the other one, I presume, he was doing the girl in question.”

He added, “To sidestep any involvement with (Sabourin), he made up a report.”
Meanwhile, Baldwin said under oath that Sabourin had been Bregman’s mistress and he introduced her to him in 2002 in Montreal.
Bregman laughed off “having an affair with a woman that’s considerably younger,” adding, “I’m 87 years old and that’s very flattering, but that’s all it is.”

Fox News notes Sabourin claims she had a romantic relationship with the Oscar-nominated actor before he married his wife, Hilaria, in 2010. Her attorney denies she stalked or harassed him and said she was only trying to get “closure” on their relationship.
