Anne Heche, 'Hung' co-creator Colette Burson working together again on NBC comedy

Anne Heche and Hung co-creator Colette Burson are working together again on a NBC comedy.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show will be a single-camera comedy for NBC and possibly star Heche.

The network has given the untitled show a script commitment. The two will co-write the script. Heche will be producing as the Save Me actress has a first-look deal with Universal Television, the deal also includes acting.

The comedy follows 43-year-old Poppy Blake who is a beauty department sales manager who constantly questions her relationships and love, Deadline reports. The show will also feature a sister for Poppy who is heavily opinionated, along with co-workers and department store clients. Poppy will look at love and sex through a comical eye.

THR notes this is Burson's first half-hour network show. It is also her first TV project since HBO's Hung, which starred Heche and Thomas Jane. Burson is also working on the supernatural thriller Sleep No More for Showtime with Dmitry Lipkin.
