CBS' '2 Broke Girls' stars Beth Behr and Kat Dennings to host People's Choice Awards, 'Glee' leads in nominations

The stars of CBS’ 2 Broke Girls, Beth Behrs and Kat Dennings, have been announced as the hosts of this year’s People’s Choice Awards. Behrs and Dennings will follow-up The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco in January, as she hosted the event for the past two years.

The nominations for the upcoming awards show were also announced, with Glee leading the pack with eight nominations

People’s Choice Awards executive producer, Mark Burnett, annouonced Behr and Dennings as hosts live at the at the Paley center for Media in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Tuesday, E! Online reports.

“Kat and Beth are great additions to our People's Choice family and we are excited to have them host the show. energy and charisma are a perfect fit for our audience,” said Burnett.

As the LA Times notes, CBS usually chooses to showcase their series stars as hosts.

Katy Perry leads the most music nominations with five and actress Sandra Bullock takes the lead for the film categories with five as well.
