The Minnesota Timberwolves roll over the Lakers 113-90

With this win Minnesota ends a 22-game losing streak to Los Angeles behind Ricky Rubio's triple-double.

The Wolves had 47 points in the first quarter of the game, as Kevin Love put up 18 of his 25 during the run, according to ESPN. Kevin Martin had a game as well, scoring a game-high 27.

Rubio had 12 points, 14 assists, and 10 rebounds for a triple-double effort to help snap the skid.

The Lakers struggled offensively turning the ball over 18 times, leading to 19 fast break points for the Timberwolves. Bleacherreport.com reports that Pau Gasol, who came into the game shooting the ball at 35 percent, went 5-12 missing six of his last eight field goals.

Another concern for the Lakers is that they seem to have lost their point guard to injury again. Steve Nash did not come back out for the second half due to back pain. he only played 13 minutes and was 0 for 3 from the field.
