Victoria Beckham wins at Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year Awards

Victoria Beckham took home the Special Contribution to Fashion Award at the 2013 Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year Awards, which was held in London's Claridge's Hotel this evening. Thirteen awards were given in addition to Beckham's, in areas such as business, acting, philanthropy, and modeling. Cate Blanchett (international actress), Jourdan Dunn (model), and JK Rowling (inspiration) were among the other winners.

There's no doubt that Victoria Beckham earned her prize. According to Harper's Bazaar, Beckham on the 'ascent' in fashion. Beckham is designing her first pre-collection for her first standalone store (which will be on Dover Street in Mayfair, London) and was also successful in doubling last year's profits with her secondary line, Victoria, Victoria Beckham. Her achievements have given British fashion a leg up in the industry.

Beckham was accompanied by another Beckham on the red carpet, but it wasn't hubby David. Instead, 14-year old son Brooklyn was at her side. Mother and son were dressed to the nines (the former is a stunning black gown, the latter in a dapper suit), but what else would you expect from this fashionable family? Victoria wouldn't have it any other way than perfect. According to Metro UK, Brooklyn squirmed while his mother corrected his posture and smoothed his hair.

Judging by Beckham's tweet, it seems like she thoroughly enjoyed the night.
