‘Fast and Furious 6’ home video proceeds will go to Paul Walker charity

A portion of the proceeds from DVD sales of Fast and Furious 6, the last movie of the franchise that Paul Walker filmed before his tragic car accident Saturday, will go toward his charity Reach Out Worldwide.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Universal made the decision to make the donation from sales of the DVD which is due out on December 10 on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Universal Pictures chairman Donna Langley said, “With the passing of Paul, the world has lost a man who spent a great deal of his life in service to others. We share in the deep grief of his family, friends and the countless fans who love him.

Entertainment Weekly reported Walker started Reach Out Worldwide after returning from a trip to Haiti in January 2010, when the country was devastated by massive earthquakes. The organization is a network of professionals with first responder skill-sets who fulfill the unmet need in times of natural disasters.

The Walker family is asking anyone wishing to express condolences to make a donation to Reach Out Worldwide on their website.
