Barbara Walters' biggest regret in life: 'Not having more children'

Barbara Walters has had a dream career for any journalist but she revealed the one thing she regrets most in her life in a new interview with Piers Morgan on his CNN show.

Walters, an only child herself, has one daughter but she wishes she had more children.

"Can I tell you what I regret when you're talking that way?” she asked Morgan, who first asked her "If you could relive one moment in your life, the moment that brought you the greatest satisfaction, thrill, sadness perhaps, the moment?"

“I regret not having more children," she admitted, USA Today reports. "I would have loved to have had a bigger family. I have one daughter. I don't have brothers and sisters. I wish I had a bigger family."

The View creator has one adopted daughter, Jackie, 44.
Meanwhile, Walters’ annual 10 Most Fascinating People special airs tonight. She chose Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lawrence, the royal baby and more.

The 84-year-old journalist told E! Online she chose to pick Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, saying “They're beautiful, they're successful, more or less talented, and we just sort of like them. They're fun."
