Daily Wrap of All Things for Dec. 11: Drew Barrymore, Kanye West, Jason Clarke, and Uruguay

Here’s our daily wrap for Wednesday December 11th:

Drew Barrymore announced the sex of her expected child at the 2013 Beauty Inc. Awards. Barrymore and husband Will Kopelman are expecting a baby girl. Barrymore accepted the award for "Newcomer of the Year: Mass" award for her brand FLOWER at the award show.

Kanye West received two Grammy nominations but even that can’t please the 36-year-old singer. West received nominations for Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song for “New Slaves.” He complained to the audience at a stop on his Yeezus tour in Pheonix about the Grammy snub and the video can be seen on Instagram.

Jason Clarke is reportedly set to star in the newest Terminator film, Terminator: Genesis. Clarke who recently starred in Zero Dark Thirty is set to star as John Connor, the leader of the rebellion against SkyNet. Arnold Schwarzenegger is also expected to appear in the film.

Uruguay is now the first country to legalize recreational marijuana. The newly approved bill provides for regulation of the cultivation, distribution and consumption of cannabis. This law only applies to Uruguayan residents over the age of 18 who register in the government database that monitors marijuana purchases so don’t buy you ticket to Uruguay just yet.
