Joan Rivers’ New Years resolution is making sure Jennifer Lawrence ‘grows up’

While everyone seems to love Jennifer Lawrence, Joan Rivers seems to be in the minority and has something against the Hunger Games superstar. In an interview this week, the Fashion Police host showed no holiday restraint when she said Lawrence needs to grow up.

The comedienne told The New York Post’s Page Six that one of her New Years’ resolutions is making sure “Jennifer Lawrence grows up and realizes how lucky she is and calms down.”

Rivers and Lawrence are not on good terms since Lawrence slammed Fashion Police. “There are shows like The Fashion Police that are just showing these generations of young people to judge people based on all the wrong values and that it’s OK to point at people and call them ugly or fat,” Lawrence told Yahoo in November.

Rivers then took to Twitter to call Lawrence “arrogant,” adding, “It’s funny how Jennifer Lawrence loved @E_FashionPolice during Awards Season when we were complimenting her every single week.”

But that wasn’t all Rivers had to say on the feud. “I love that she’s telling everyone how wrong it is to worry about retouching and body image, and meanwhile, she has been touched up more than a choir boy at the Vatican,” Rivers told the Post. “Look at her posters. She doesn’t have a nose, she has two holes. She just has to learn, don’t talk if you’re doing it.”

However, Rivers did have some nice things to say about the American Hustle star’s acting ability, calling her the “next Meryl Streep.”

Meanwhile, Lawrence spent her Christmas week performing a good deed, visiting children at the Kosair Children's Hospital in her hometown Louisville, Kentucky, notes E! News. She visited the children on Sunday and posed for pictures with them.
