Chris Pine recalls filming 'Just My Luck' with Lindsay Lohan in 2006, learning about the dangers of fame

Chris Pine opened up about the dangers of fame in a new interview, having seen it first-hand while filming Just My Luck with Lindsay Lohan in 2006.

Lohan, who was 18 at the time they filmed in New Orleans, had just seen success with her film Mean Girls and her whirlwind career was skyrocketing. She has already been seen in The Parent Trap and 2003’s Freaky Friday, but she was starting to become a paparazzi magnet as she got older.

"It was a real cyclone of insanity, like being around The Beatles," Pine, 33, told The Hollywood Reporter of the now sober 27 year old actress.

"It was fascinating to watch, and in hindsight it's really a distinct moment in someone's life when you see what's really wonderful about what we get to do and what's really dangerous about it,” he added.

The Star Trek actor went on to talk about the culture of Hollywood – both his parents were actors growing up – saying it’s like “living in a weird bubble,” Us Weekly reports.

“A bunch of people take care of you and get you stuff, and you're the center of that little microcosmic world," the action star shared. "You start believing that it is real and … you deserve it,” he said.

Lohan is attempting another comeback after completing her most recent stint in rehab and she's currently filming a docu-series on Oprah Winfrey's OWN.
