Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy bash brings biggest names in music together (Video)

RCA Records founder Clive Davis annual pre-Grammy bash brings some of the biggest names in music together to play and to party. Bringing an eclectic mix of artists is fun for the artists as well, where musicians are able to rub shoulders with other artists they have never met.

The Hollywood Reporter overheard Imagine Dragons drummer Daniel Platzman stating, “I’m a huge fan seriously,” to Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins. Other unique pairings included Lorde and Dave Grohl chatting it up, and the annual photo Davis has with his artists included Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell, newcomers A Great Big World and the legendary John Fogerty. The video also includes one-on-ones with Fantasia, T.I. and A Great Big World.

The LA Times noted the annual party drew just as many A-Lister stars last year with Katy Perry, Sting, Johnny Depp and Frank Ocean in attendance. Among the performers were Usher, Emeli Sandé, Jennifer Hudson and Gladys Knight.

Several artists on the RCA Records label were nominated, winners and performers at this year’s Grammy Awards including Justin Timberlake, P!nk, Fantasia, Alicia Keys and Gavin Degraw.
