Golden Globes recap 10 p.m. hour: Woody Allen, 'Gravity' and '12 Years a Slave'

The final hour of the show kicked off with Amy Poehler and Tina Fey back on the stage again, looking amazing long dresses. Fey congratulated Poehler on her win for best actress on Parks and Recreation and introduced Emma Stone who honored Woody Allen with this year's Cecil B. DeMille Award.

Diane Keaton went on to honor Allen as well; Keaton discussed his art and the powerful female characters that Allen brings to the big screen.

The next big award of the night was best director. The globe went to Alfonso Cuaron for Gravity.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine shocked once again when they took home the award for best television comedy.

Jennifer Lawrence presented the award for best actor in motion picture or comedy, which went to Leonardo Dicaprio for his work in Wolf of Wall Street. He thanked his director, Martin Scorsese for putting this film on the screen.

Drew Barrymore presented the award for best motion picture musical or comedy which went to American Hustle.

With the last few awards of the nights still to go, the competition was heating up.

Cate Blanchett won for best actress in motion picture drama, for her work on Blue Jasmine. Best actor in a motion picture drama was Matthew Mcconaughey for his work on Dallas Buyers Club.

The final award of the night went to 12 Years a Slave for best motion picture drama.
