Jeffries, 19, just left Panama with Bieber on Tuesday after spending several days there and released a statement regarding the “negative attention” and “false accusations” about her rumored rap sheet.

"I have been overwhelmed by the negative attention I have recently received in the media. My family and I are particularly upset about the false accusations which have been published concerning my criminal history,” she told E! News in a statement.

She went on to say, "For the record, I have not been arrested five times as has been stated in the media, nor am I guilty of physically assaulting anyone, in any way shape or form. I am a full-time student who had enjoyed a normal lifestyle, free from public scrutiny and criticism, until now.”

Jeffries was in negotiations to appear on the Today Show this week to talk about these allegations, which she confirmed on Twitter. She wrote she was considering going on the show to talk “not about Justin, about false allegations against me only.”

She continued in her statement, “What has happened to me is wrong. I want people in general, and the media in particular, to consider the impact their disparaging comments have on the individual; especially when their comments are inaccurate."

Jeffries was seen with Bieber in Miami the night of his arrest and she was riding in the passenger seat with him when he got pulled over for DUI and drag racing.
