Justin Timberlake and his ’20/20 Experience’

January 29 20:50 2014

Justin Timberlake was nominated for numerous awards at the Grammys this year for The 20/20 Experience, which was released in two parts in 2013.

The two-disc album is called The 20/20 Experience – the Complete Experience and was released in stores earlier this year. As previously reported, the first half was the best-selling album of 2013 with 2.43 million copies sold.

The album has its own website, where fans are able to unlock content from, such as music videos. It also includes recordings of Timberlake explaining the making of each track.

If you turned on the radio, you would hear one of the hits off of the first part of the album, “Suit & Tie.” Another single that has gotten major radio play time is “Mirrors” which tells a story about a couple and how they are meant for each other even as time goes by.

The tracks show a progression from Timberlake’s “Sexyback” days. There’s a sense of classiness mixed with “big band” music of the past. There are also collaborations on this album with well-known artists like Jay Z and Drake.

Two standout tracks on this album are “Pusher Love Girl” and “TKO.”
