'Mean Girls' actress Lacey Chabert got married in December

Actress Lacey Chabert, who starred in Mean Girls, got married durign the holidays, but decided not to make it public until this weekend. She announced the news on social media by posting a picture of herself with her maid of honor.

First, she took to Twitter to tease fans, writing, “Just wanted to share some personal news with you guys.” She then said in another tweet, “I'm starting off 2014 as a Mrs! Over the holidays, my best friend & love of my life...we became husband & wife! #soblessed #love.”

Chabert then used Instagram to share a couple of images of the party, including one with her maid of honor and another showing her dancing.

The actress did not announce the name of her husband. However, a source told Us Weekly that she married Dave Nehdar in a ceremony in Los Angeles. Several celebrities were there as well, including actresses Kaley Cuoco and Amy Davison and Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky.

Prior to the New Year, Chabert did tell her fans that her grandfather had just passed away on Dec. 28. “Rest peacefully in heaven, PaPaw. We already miss you terribly. Such a wonderful grandfather,” she wrote at the time.

Chabert is best known for roles on Party of Five and Mean Girls. She is also a veteran cartoon voice actor, lending her voice to shows like The Wild Thornberrys and Family Guy.
