Open Road moves up Arnold Schwarzenegger action film ‘Sabotage’

Open Road Films has moved up the latest Arnold Schwarzenegger Sabotage to March 28.

Variety reported that after Open Roads decided to A Haunted House 2 to April 18 they decided to move the Schwarzenegger action flick up in the que.

Sabotage will tell the story of an elite DEA task force and Schwarzenegger will be in charge of.

David Ayer will be directing the film and had a huge hit with End of Watch last year.

March is known for being a strong action film month, last year’s G.I. Joe: Retaliation made over 40 million at the box office but recent films from Schwarzenegger have not done well at the box office. Escape Plan and The Last Stand, did not gain any traction at the box office.

Open Road Films will be also pushing their latest release a new found-footage horror spoof film, A Haunted House 2. Marlon Wayans will be a co-writer on the project and will be returning to star, Deadline.
