Trent Reznor says ‘F--k you’ at Grammys, executive producer apologizes

Trent Reznor, although much calmer nowadays than a decade ago, the Nine Inch Nails frontman couldn’t believe the broadcast of the Grammy’s cut off his performance with Queens of a Stone Age, Lindsey Buckingham and Dave Grohl unleashing a viral “F$ck you” to the producers of the Grammy’s.

reported Reznor sent out a tweet about 45 minutes after the awards show ended stating “Music’s biggest night…to be disrespected. A heartfelt F$CK YOU guys.”

The Grammy’s had apparently already run 15 minutes over the expected time and the performance of the Nine Inch Nails song “Copy of A” and Queen of a Stone Age’s “My God is the Sun” were interrupted by the networks ads for the network and airline sponsor. According to the Rolling Stone reporters in the audience, there wasn’t much more of the performance that the broadcast missed.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter Ken Ehrlich, Grammy executive producer, did say he was sorry that Reznor was upset, and was really thrilled to get him on the Grammy’s in the first place.
