TV Ratings: 'How I Met Your Mother' 200th episode sets season high, 'The Blacklist' up

CBS had a solid victory over the other networks on the back of all its shows, which actually rose on Monday night, especially the 200th episode of How I Met Your Mother.

For the night, CBS posted a 2.5 in the important 18-49 demographic and an average of 9.06 million viewers for the night, reports HitFix. How I Met Your Mother set a season high with a 3.8 in the demo, that number is the best for the show in almost a year. 2 Broke Girls also was up to a 3.0 rating, and Mike & Molly rose to a 2.6 in the demo. Mom continued the upward trend for the network with a 2.4 rating and Intelligence bounced back slightly, to an improved 1.5 in the demo.

ABC was right behind CBS with a 2.1 in the demo and 8.03 million viewers. The Bachelor continues to remain strong in the ratings, managing a 2.0 in the important demo. A Castle encore pulled in a decent 2.1 rating.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC averaged a 1.8 in the 18-49 demo and 6.7 million viewers. Two episodes of Hollywood Game Night managed to improve in both timeslots to a 1.5 for the first episode and a 1.3 rating for the second. The Blacklist also was up after its recent slumps to a 2.5 in the demo.

Fox managed a 1.6 in the demo and 4.99 million viewers as The Following slipped in its normal Monday timeslot without having football as its lead-in. The Kevin Bacon show managed a 2.0 in the demo.

The CW averaged 1 million viewers and a 0.3 in the demo behind Hart of Dixie's 0.4 rating and Beauty and the Beast's 0.3 in the demo.
