‘NCIS: New Orleans’ adds CCH Pounder and Zoe McLellan

NCIS: New Orleans, a spinoff of the popular show NCIS, adds two new actors to their line-up. CCH Pounder and Zoe McLellan are next to join the cast.

They will be adding to a line-up that includes after Scott Bakula, according to Variety. Pounder will be playing Dr. Wade, a Jefferson Parish Medical Examiner. McLellan will be playing Special Agent Brody.

It’s not a great leap for McLellan to go from playing a Navy pilot to a Navy investigator in the new series. Zoe McLellan was recently seen in JAG. She was also seen in Stonebrook, Stranger in My House and on the small screen in The Invisible Man and First Monday. She played P.O. Jennifer Coates in JAG.

CCH Pounder has had a formidable career, first appearing as Nurse Blake in All that Jazz in 1979. She followed up with work on the big and small screen, including roles in American Playhouse, Hill Street Blues, Bagdad Café, Miami Vice, The X-Files. Most recently, she has been seen in Warehouse 13 and Sons of Anarchy.

NCIS: New Orleans takes place in the colorful area in Louisiana to Texas, according to TV Guide.
