Times .
After yelling “Bush will get his,” as he was taken into custody, Smith later told agents he was divorced and “working on a relationship with Barbara Bush,” reported Reuters .
Smith was tracked down in Manhattan by his cell phone by The Secret Service who were responding to a tip from his mother. After finding a note left in her home and a missing rifle, Smith’s mother called the police.
“I’m going to work for George W. Bush and the Pentagon. I have to slay a dragon and then Barbara Bush is mine,” read the note according to the government.
Smith was found sitting in his car with a machete, loaded gun, and container of gasoline before he was arrested.
