When the Harry Potter franchise reached its close in 2011 with the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, there was a feeling of sadness in the air. Yes, an ending that was arguably justified occurred, but on the other hand it was saddening to see a world you grew up in leave the screen forever. Luckily, while Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint may not live in the halls of Hogwarts anymore, we can still see them in other films and remember the days where Dumbledore gave the best/worst advice. That being said, when J.K. Rowling announced a twist to the books/movies we loved the internet went wild with stories and opinionated comments. According to an article written by [Hypable.com], Rowling stated that she regrets putting Ron and Hermione together. I can practically hear the dancing feet of the fans that always wanted Harry and Hermione together. As a devout fan of the franchise, I can say that Rowling’s comment does not come as a complete surprise, but it does make me want to watch the movies again simply to see if there’s even a second where Harry stares at Hermione even a little bit.
