Justin Bieber rejects plea deal in DUI case

Justin Bieber has reportedly rejected a plea deal from prosecutors over his DUI case in Miami, Florida. He is facing charges of resisting officers and driving under the influence and is likely to serve jail time if found guilty.

According to The Mirror, the plea deal involved random drug testing, 40 hours of community service, an alcohol education course, going to a DUI panel in which families of victims share their stories, and installing an ignition interlock device for 3 months.

Bieber has refused the deal because he is afraid of violating probation and following in the footsteps of other celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan and Chris Brown.

Sources have told TMZ that there are many problems surrounding the case such as the fact that they believe cops lied when they said Bieber reeked of alcohol and also lied about him drag racing.
TMZ sources have also said that Bieber will not accept any plea that has probation.

If this isn’t enough, Bieber is also fighting with Miami police over releasing a video of him getting a pat down at the station after his arrest, reports Dailymail.

He is worried that an even more embarrassing video will get released—one of him urinating. His lawyers are currently working to make sure the video isn’t exposed because it shows his “private parts”.
