Justin Timberlake postpones Madison Square Garden concert, rescheduled for Friday

Justin Timberlake has postponed his Wednesday night concert at Madison Square Garden and has rescheduled it for Friday night.

The "Tunnel Vision" singer took to Twitter, only a few hours before it was set to begin, to make the announcement that the show was being pushed back two days, according to The Associated Press.

Timberlake tweeted that the show was postponed due to "health reasons."

He followed that tweet up with another that said, "I am truly sorry to everyone that have tickets for tonight. It kills me to have to do this."

New York Daily News reports that tickets for Wednesday night's show will be useable for the new date, or fans can simply get their money back.

Though tonight's show is postponed, Thursday night's show of Timberlake's 20/20 Experience World Tour will go on as planned.

Timberlake is also scheduled to appear on the Tonight Show as part of Jimmy Fallon's first week as host.
