NEEDTOBREATHE has not had an easy road to success musically. The band has had it’s up and downs in the industry and even came close to calling it quits but as a group, they rediscovered their musical passion and came back together for their fifth and upcoming album, Rivers In the Wasteland. Now NEEDTOBREATHE is planning a new tour and has been releasing new singles for fans.
The tour will kick off at the Gillioz Theater in Springfield, MO and will wrap up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. More tour dates for the band will be announced soon, Billboardreported.
Bear Rinehart opened up recently in an interview about the struggles that the group faced before they went back into the studio for their fifth album. “We’d been doing this for a long time and we hadn’t really had enough rest to be honest. It had been probably eight or nine years since we’d taken a few weeks off and it makes it really easy to get your priorities messed up. Ambition had really taken hold of us a little bit. You start to value that more than the people around you, and that’s really dangerous,” said Rinehart.
The band has come back together and is now focusing on their new music, including a brand new track that was just released, “State I’m In.” The song combines their grassroots and country style with hard rock ‘n’ roll elements in this single that is soon to be a crowd favorite.
