New York City heats up for the Super Bowl

Super Bowl fever has hit the New York/New Jersey area even though the Giants and Jets will not be taking the field this Sunday. As the Broncos and the Seahawks prepare for the big game, people from all over the country have made their way to New York City to celebrate the biggest day in sports.

Celebrities flocked to the City for over a dozen parties in honor of the Super Bowl. ESPN and Maxim Magazine were just two of the twelve that kicked off the festivities on Friday night. TheCelebrityCafe.com’s Michelle Vaccaro caught up with the Maxim attendees on the red carpet as they shared their enthusiasm and predictions for the big game. 2 Fast 2 Furious actor Cole Hauser thinks anything can happen. He said, “I’m going back and forth. I’m leaning Denver right now. I believe it’s a classic matchup. You know…best offense against best defense, but usually defense wins championships…” The WWE’s Bella Twins have differing opinions on who is bringing home the trophy. “I think Broncos, Brie thinks Seahawks,” said Nikki Bella. Brie replied, “I believe the Seahawks defense will show up and I think that will end the Broncos.” Nikki countered, “And I think Peyton Manning…you just can’t stop him.

No matter which team you want to win on Sunday, there’s plenty of fun and excitement in the air, not just for the celebrities, but for the everyday fans too. Broadway was transformed to Super Bowl Boulevard with games and attractions for fans of all ages. The activities include a field goal kick, a 60 foot toboggan race, and a tour of the NFL TV sets. Fans can even feel what it’s like to be a champion by holding the Vince Lombardi trophy or snag an autograph from some of the league’s best.
