New York Knicks' Raymond Felton arrested for illegal gun possession

New York Knicks point guard, Raymond Felton was arrested early Tuesday morning for crimal possession of a weapon.

According to < a href=http://nba.si.com/2014/02/25/raymond-felton-arrest-gun-charges-new-york-knicks/>Sports Illustrated, Felton is facing multiple felony weapons charges. He was arrested at New York’s Upper West Side. Felton, 29 was arrested just a few hours after the Knicks lost to the Dallas Mavericks, 110-108 at Madison Square Garden.

The New York Post reports that Felton waved a loaded pistol at his wife during a fight in their Upper West side home over his alleged cheating.

His wife, Ariane Raymondo-Felton, 24, called the cops on him and turned in the gun to the police. She also told the police that a similar incident happened on Valentine’s Day.
Raymond Felton filed for divorce last, even though the couple still loves together.

Felton purchased the gun legally in North Carolina, but he never got a permit for it in New York.

The New York police charged him with three criminal gun possession charges on Tuesday. His bail was set at $25,000 and his next court date is on June 2.
