"Psych’ has made an indelible imprint on the television landscape, with a unique brand of comedy, The final season celebrates the iconic characters that have made this show so beloved, and will be an exclamation point on the series’ incredible run," said McCumber.

Psych debuted back in July 2006 and the show has seen strong ratings ever since. The show stars James Roday and Dule Hill as a longtime friends who work for the Santa Barbara police department. Roday has special skills that allow the department to believe that he is a psychic.

Even though Psych will be ending the possibility of a spin-off is already being discussed, The Hollywood Reporter added. "While the series will wrap in March somehow I don’t believe we’ve heard the last of Shawn and Gus," said McCumber.
